Artist:Bogusław Lustyk
    Bogusław Lustyk was born in 1940. In 1965, he received a diploma with honors from the Faculty of Painting and Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. The artist is engaged in painting, sculpture and applied graphics. He has had more than 40 solo exhibitions at home and abroad, including in the United States (New York, Washington, Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia), Germany, Sweden, Finland, France and Australia. He has received 25 awards for his work in the field of posters and painting, including 8 in competitions organized by the Polish Olympic Committee. Bogusław Lustyk's work was exhibited at the Olympics in Barcelona, Atlanta and London. In 2012, he carried out a unique project in London called "Painted Chronicle of the Olympics" under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. Since 2002, he has been working with the Grand Theater National Opera in Warsaw, which has resulted in two major exhibitions. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Frederic Chopin's birthday, he prepared a series of paintings entitled: "Painting Music," which was exhibited at the Kordegarda Gallery and at the International Festival in Międzyzdroje (during these exhibitions, the paintings were musically interpreted by Waldemar Malicki), as well as at exhibitions in Chicago and Saratoga Springs (during these exhibitions, the paintings inspired musical improvisations for American jazz musicians). As part of his cooperation with the Grand Theater, he designed the promotional setting for the 8th Tadeusz Moniuszko International Vocal Competition.
