    Szymon Chwalisz
    A graduate of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, he earned a diploma in painting at the EASP in Kalisz under Prof. Jan Krzysztof Hrycek. In addition to painting, Szymon is also involved in sculpture, printmaking, creates illustrations and widely understood design. Since 2003, he has specialized in the airbrush technique in which he has created more than 1500 works. The most well-known of these are, still performed annually, the famous PolandRock Guitars. These instruments - on which Szymon paints portraits of PolandRock Festival guests - reach record sums every year during the Finals of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. Using this technique, Szymon is also the author of painted helmets for prominent athletes such as Kajetan Kajetanowicz and Maciej Szczepaniak, Karolina Pilarczyk, Rafał Sonik and Maciej Kot, among others. Oil painting in Simon's work came into full existence in 2015, and since then the artist has created more than 200 works. Most of the paintings are in private collections at home and abroad.
