How do I put a physical work up for auction?
    1
    Create a platform user profile*
    Register on the Verum.ART platform
using your e-mail address or social media account. Create user profile and complete all the required information. Give consent to act in accordance with our regulations.

    * the function on Verum.ART will be available soon
    2
Describe the work and take photographs
Prepare an accurate description of the artwork. Provide information on the technique, dimensions, state of preservation and any other relevant details. Make high quality photographs from different perspectives, so that potential buyers are able to view the work in detail.
    3
You can also choose an auction house
If you opt for a traditional auction, find an auction house that specialises in the sale of works of art. Consult with staff to get information on the process of putting the work up for auction. Present your work of art and find out what the conditions for putting it up for auction are. Employees of the auction house will help you fill in the necessary documents and discuss the details of the procedure.
    4
    Expertise and documentation
    Auction houses require expertise
confirming the authenticity of the work. Make sure you have the necessary documents. Provide everything to get the auction house’s opinion on the value and authenticity of the work. Provide photographs, as they will be needed for the auction folder. Your work will then be put up for auction. You will be able to follow the progress of the auction and find out whether and for what price it has been sold.
    5
    Set the starting price
Explore the art market for information about the value of your work. Remember that the starting price should be attractive to potential buyers, but also adequate to the value of your work.
    6
    Start the auction*
    Auction your work on the
Verum.ART platform, using the available tools. Add the previously prepared description and photographs, set the starting price and duration of the auction.

    * the function on Verum.ART will be available soon
    7
    Monitor the auction
Check the progress of the auction regularly. Answer questions from potential customers. You may also consider promoting your auction on various social media platforms in order to reach as many potential buyers as possible.
    8
    Finalisation of the transaction
After the auction, contact the winner, arrange payment and shipping details and finalise the transaction in accordance with the terms and conditions set out on the Verum.ART platform.
